Mirosław Wróblewski

Personal Data Protection Office (UODO)

Mirosław Wróblewski is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) since January 26, 2024. A graduate in law and political science with a specialization in international relations, he has authored nearly 100 scholarly publications on constitutional, international, and European law, as well as human rights protection. From 2007 to 2024 he was the Director of the Constitutional, International, and European Law Department at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights. He represented the Commissioner in the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions and EU Fundamental Rights Agency and served as the Chairman of the Human Rights Committee in the Polish Bar of Attorneys at Law.
In 2025, he was honored with the title „Outstanding Personality of the Year – Law Visionary” during the „Gala of Personalities and Successes,” recognizing his significant contributions to constitutional and European law, data protection, and human rights advocacy. Under his leadership, UODO has intensified enforcement of data protection regulations.
