Yiannis Karamanolis

Yiannis is a lawyer in the Republic of Cyprus and has been practising law since 2009 and since 2019 he is the Managing Director of Karamanolis & Karamanolis LLC. He is a passionate and seasoned professional with many years of experience in intellectual property matters, which include licensing and assignment agreements, distribution and agency agreements, franchising deals and research & development agreements. He also provides specialised advice and assistance to all key players in the video games industry in all commercial transactions that are necessary for their day-to-day operations, in tax matters and the features of the IP-box regime in Cyprus, in immigration and relocation matters, and regulation compliance issues. In the litigation field, his practice focuses on complex commercial agreements and disputes, and he has significant experience with trademark and brand protection disputes, copyright infringements, passing off and unfair competition proceedings, M&A litigation, corporate management and control disputes, cross border asset
