Gameplay Designer & Coordinator
Rafał is a Gameplay Designer at CD PROJEKT RED who is currently working in the Project Polaris team, developing gameplay solutions for the first game in the new Witcher saga. Most recently, he worked on Phantom Liberty, the critically acclaimed Cyberpunk 2077 expansion — during production of which, Rafał also took the coordinator role, managing the AI & NPC gameplay team. In his role, his most important tasks include designing gameplay systems, AI & NPCs, boss fights, and player abilities. Before joining Phantom Liberty’s production, he supported a range of CDPR projects, such as the next-generation update of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, and GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. In the past, Rafał worked in his own independent studio developing a number of mobile games, as well as — at university — VR and AR titles commissioned by museums, casinos, and businesses. In his spare time he still enjoys producing mobile and indie games.
